Delays
Seller (horse moms supplements ... that’s us) assumes no responsibility or liability for any loss or damage caused by delay or inability to deliver as a result, directly or indirectly, of acts of God, floods, fires, strikes, labor disputes, accidents, embargoes, delays of carriers, acts of military authorities, sabotage, Seller’s inability to obtain raw material, supplies or equipment, or from any other cause which is unavoidable or beyond Seller’s responsible control.
That’s our wonderful ( i hate um’) lawyer talkin’. I much prefer working things out horse moms to horse mom... Good communication is best in any relationship.
Sales Tax
Sales tax applies to all orders (currently CT only) unless the purchaser supplies Horse Moms with a current Re-Sale Tax Certificate or Sales Tax Exemption Certificate at the time of order or purchase.
If we don’t have it we have to pony up the tax dollars so if you’ve got it lets use it!
Prices
List prices are in US Dollars. Prices are subject to change without notice. Please contact Horse Moms or your Sales Executive for the most up to date pricing information. Prices stated do not include delivery or freight unless we say it does.
We’ll keep you posted on any price changes (goin’ up or down) just sign up for the barn newsletter and you’ll even get special priced coupons when you least expect it.
Qualifying for a Wholesale Account
Horse Moms sells wholesale to bona fide brick and mortar establishments and full time online stores ONLY.
Please call us (International may use email) to set up the account. We will need the following kind of stuff:
- Your Business License and Tax ID numbers
- A commercially zoned brick and mortar address to ship to
- A Credit Card for billing, can be a business or personal card
We’re working on neat promotional stuff for the brick and mortar guys and gals out there so stay tuned for some cool stuff.
Shipping
All orders are shipped via USPS, or FedEx/UPS or on request by common carrier for larger orders.
All orders are FOB NORWICH, CT UPS (ground) shipment unless otherwise requested. Just drop us a note if you have a preference for a particular shipping method.
Shipping is automatically calculated by weight, & actual shipping charges will be added to your total.
We work with our shipping companies to get the best prices we can. Then we pass those prices on to you. Let’s face it... shipping is a part of life and if we can make your life easier we will.
Marketing Tools
We offer a variety of point of purchase tools.
We also have some awesome 4 color consumer hand outs that help the consumer track their purchase.
Better yet... all of these can be customized to your store and location.
We are constantly adding to our marketing tool arsenal so no worries... we’ll have your back.
Ordering
You may place your wholesale order through our online shopping cart.
Once your wholesale status has been approved, you’ll be able to login and view wholesale pricing discounts.
You must be logged in to an approved wholesale account in order to view these prices. Items that do not have discounted prices are not available for wholesale purchase.
Payment
For all wholesale accounts, payment is due in full upon placement of order. We do not offer net terms at this time. We currently accept Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard) and PayPal. Your credit card will be charged for the full amount upon ordering.
Minimum Order
$1,000 minimum order to open account. No minimum per item. No minimum on reorders.
Cancellation
For large orders, all orders canceled after production has begun (typically within 3-5 days) will incur a cancellation fee of 20% or $99 (whichever is less).
That’s because we can’t recover the credit card fees that we incur from our credit card merchant account so orders that are canceled after the credit card charges have cleared (midnight on the same day the order was placed) will be refunded less 2.19% of the total charge.
If anyone knows of a better credit card merchant out there please let me know.
We hate to be a bother but we make this stuff from scratch and if we are putting together a large order for you and it gets canceled that’s a challenge. So the fair thing to do is to share that with you.
Coupons
Please note that our standard retail coupons are not valid for wholesale customers. Only specially-issued wholesale coupons (codes beginning with WS) may be used on a wholesale order.
And yes we do offer specials and promotions every once in a while :-)
Exclusive Territories
At this time we offer exclusive territories (by zip code) to resellers ordering more than $5,000 annually. Exclusive rights will not be granted until this minimum has been met for the year, and will not be granted unless specifically requested by the reseller.
Rights will be removed if reseller fails to reach annual minimum each year. Existing accounts will not be canceled if a new reseller in the same zip code requests exclusivity.
Sooner you request it the sooner you tie up your exclusive area.
Store Listings
We like to keep our retailers page as up to date as possible. Your shop will be added to this directory after your 2nd order with Horse Moms, or upon request. Your shop will be removed from this list if you have not placed an order in the past 12 months. Please contact us if you'd like your store information to appear differently.
We want to promote you so drop me a note. One more thing, we are always adding new tools for our retail partners so keep an eye out for some cool stuff.
For Resale Only
All products are to be purchased for resale only. Your wholesale account is not to be used by anyone other than you or an approved representative of your company. Wholesale products are not for gift giving or personal use. We reserve the right to terminate any wholesale account found to be taking advantage of this. Fair is fair.
Returns
All sales are final. It’s the buyer’s responsibility to know what will sell in his or her store and you assume this responsibility when you place your order with Horse Moms. So no “Buy Backs” or returns.
Defects/Shipping Damages
We will replace all damaged/defective merchandise for an identical item. Please contact us before returning any products. If items are received damaged contact us immediately so we can take care of things.
All wholesale orders will be shipped with proper insurance, and we are not responsible for damages caused by the shipping carrier. If you have a shipping damage claim, please contact the shipping carrier and Horse Moms immediately. Shipping damages are not our responsibility and are not entitled for refund or exchange.
Now that doesn’t mean you are going to be left out in the cold. We will certainly help you how ever we can. So don’t give up. Let us know how things are going and we will do everything we can to get things worked out for you.
Agreement of Terms
By placing an order with Horse Moms, you hereby understand and agree to abide by all the policies set forth by this agreement. These terms are subject to change at any time and you will be notified of such. We reserve the right to refuse any wholesale order for any reason.
